Club Sandwich
I've been working on a recipe for the perfect club sandwich. Not quite there yet, but here's the best so far.
Preparation
- Serving Size: 1
- Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 3 slices sourdough bread
- 8 oz skinless, boneless chicken breast, pounded thin
- McCormick's Grill Mates Montreal Chicken Seasoning
- Durkee Famous sauce
- 3 slices bacon (2 oz)
- 1/4 avocado, sliced
- 1 large romaine lettuce leaf
- 1 egg, fried
Directions
- Toast bread.
- Season and grill chicken.
- Spread Durkee on side of each slice of toast. Then add the following to the first slice.
- Chicken
- Bacon
- Avocado
- Then, cover with second slice of bread and add:
- Lettuce
- Egg
- Top with final piece of bread. Press sandwich down firmly, then skewer toothpicks into each corner. Cut on the diagonal to create two triangles.
