Design Portfolio
I enjoy studying graphic and industrial design. I guess you could say it's a hobby. I like reading anything from Scott McCloud's Understanding Comics to the Macintosh Human Interface Guidelines. I try not to worship anyone in particular, but I really like the work of Adrian Newey and Philippe Starck. As such, I try to buy a few nice things, whether they come from Target, DWR, or Limn.
Occasionally, I'll try my hand at designing anything from furniture to logos. I guess you could say that I'm self taught.

I adapted some existing designs to create logos for newly introduced products so that they would be consistent across the family. I also designed the Programming 4th Dimension book cover and companion CD, which I published while at Foresight Technology.
